Sarah and Mel wanted a simple yet classic and modern wedding. They opted for a backyard elopement when they knew their family could not travel across the country due to COVID. Sharing their vows in a simple ceremony with two of their friends as witnesses.
Unlike most traditional weddings, Sarah and Mel spent the morning together, helping one another with their finishing touches. It was a relaxing day with no rushing, allowing them to soak in the moments.
Though it was just the four of them, didn’t mean that their day was any less elegant. The inspiration came from the colors of fresh, raw plums, figs, blackberries, and almonds. The figs were an added touch of personality since they had a significant meaning for the two of them.
Sarah and Mel said their vows in front of a custom backdrop and beautiful florals, afterward the newlyweds toasted to their new life with a vintage bottle of Dom Perignon.
Before heading out for dinner and cake, they had a small cocktail reception of light bites at a table set with their classic and modern wedding vision in mind.
