Modern Garden Wedding Inspiration at Forever 5 Events

While planning this shoot I wanted to show how couples can bring in modern touches without making it feel sterile. Light blue and blush have been popular wedding colors for years and wanted a twist, so I added them together!

The first pop of color comes from the invitation suite. A simple yet beautiful invitation hidden in an envelope filled with gorgeous florals.

For the ceremony, I selected an arch with straight lines for a more modern touch but white in color to soften the look. Two floral arrangements at the base added the perfect touch of color. For fun, the ground arrangements were moved to the hoop bench to get these amazing shots! Pro Tip: If you have a great photographer, listen to their ideas and go with it! They know what they are doing!

Modern Wedding Details

I have this slight obsession with hanging or draped florals and knew it’s what I wanted for the tablescape. I mean have you ever seen anything so beautiful! It’s like they are growing off the table! The blue table linen is the base while the florals bring in most of the color with a dash of blush on the menus. I used glass plates to show more of the linen and silver flatware so as to not draw the eye away. I chose this flatware set because it has a sleek and seamless look with an added flair at the ends. Both traits together give it a modern yet whimsical feel. The glassware is one of my favorite sets, the straight lines give it that modern feel compared to the traditional rounded glasses.

The gown is one of my favorite parts of this shoot. I loved the way the whole dress seemed to flow from the beautiful skirt to the delicate criss-cross straps. It screamed whimsical and romantic and I still can’t believe how perfect it was.

Colorful Florals

The thing I love most about styled shoots is vendors can have the freedom to create. Watching them take a small idea and growing it into something beautiful. My jaw dropped when these florals arrived, I couldn’t believe how perfect they were. I hadn’t seen anything like them and that’s exactly what this process is all about!
